I found MyLittleAdmin to be helpful on 1and1.com.
Newbies 2 Questions concerning MyLittleAdmin on host 1and1.com
1) For the creation/updating of a single table on 1and1.com is the MyLittleAdmin query analyzer the best method of performing mass updates on a single table? Am I missing other existing utilities?
2) Can a locally installed MyLittleAdmin maintain individual tables on the remote host 1and1.com? Otherwise stated, is there a faster way to maintain the tables on the host, than the 8 clicks in 7 screens to get the query analyzer window?
Thanks

1- the easiest solution would be that your webhoster upgrades to the full version of myLittleAdmin. Then you could access graphical interface to create/update your tables.
2. It depends on your webhoster sql server configuration. If 1and1 allows remote access to the sql server, then you can install myLittleAdmin on your local machine to access the remote sql server.

I contacted support@1and1.com and they said: "It is not possible to access sql server remotely. The only way to access the sql is thru the mt little admin in the Control Panel. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us."
