Hello,

The myLittleAdmin instructions say on page 3:

7. You can now access myLittleAdmin at the following address http://www.yourServer.com/yourInstallFolder/.

What would yourServer be?

What would yourInstallFolder be?

Also, I installed all of the myLittleAdmin files in the CGI-BIN folder of the website. Is this correct?

Thank you,

Mark Weisberger

Let's say your domain is mydomain.com
Install myLittleAdmin in mydomain.com/mylittleadmin
It means you need to copy all the files (including the subfolder) in mydomain.com/mylittleadmin
Then define the folder mydomain.com/mylittleadmin as a web application through your IIS configuration tool (or your control panel if you're on a hosted environment)
Then you will be able to access myLittleAdmin from the URL http://www.mydomain.com/mylittleadmin

Okay. Thank you.

I set up the folder myLittleAdmin on the host site and I copied all of the myLittleAdmin folders and files into it.

I'm sorry but I don't know how to define the folder mydomain.com/mylittleadmin as a web application through the control panel. Does this mean my control panel on my PC? Or the site manager on the hoster? I've looked around, but haven't found anything where I can define a folder as a web application.

Thanks again for your help.

You should be able to define the installation folder as a web application from your hoster control panel. Most of the control panels (Plesk, DotNetPanel, Helm, Ensim...) give the ability to do that.

If your hoster does not offer access to a powerful control panel and thus you cannot define the install folder as a web app, then:
- copy the whole myLittleAdmin bin folder (and sub-folder) content into the bin folder of your website.
- delete the machineKey node in myLittleAdmin web.config

Hope this helps

Thank you. There's another issue. The site is in a ColdFusion hosted environment. Does this change anything about myLittleAdmin? I followed your instructions. When I run the page, I simply see ASP.NET code when the page opens. The db is SQL 2005. Thanks again for your help!
