When a query is run which returns a lot of rows performance seems to be rather slow - I am comparing this with the performance of the WebDataAdministrator application.


The performance seems to not scale - small queries are fine, but large ones are terribly slow - doubel the records being returned ends up being much more than double the time.

The application (web site) is sintalled on a very powerful server (8GB RAM, 8 x CPU) so I dont' think it is resource constrained. Having sadi that the O/S is windwos 64bit and we are of course running in 32bit mode.
