Hi
I work for an Italian ISP. We are evaluating mylittleadmin for our MSSQL hosting solution. I received the 14 days trial and just made a few tests. In order to manage our login on a centralized LDAP we would like to use Windows Authentication and turn off SQL authentication.
In a hosted environmant do you think it could cause security risk to use mylittleadmin with windows authetication and impersonate=true?
Thanks Roberto

Hi Roberto
As soon as your network config (with LDAP) is correctly set up, there should not be any problem using Windows Authentication.
Usually, webhosters use SQL Server authentication because they manage customers account with control panels (Plesk, DNP, etc...). This CP require a few windows accounts only and then a less expensive windows licence.
About security risk: myLittleAdmin is a .NET web application and does not require any sysadmin credentials to work. Which means that your customers will only be able to do what they allow to do with their own credential.
Feel free to contact us by email for any further info.
Sincerely
